Plastisol transfers

Plastisol transfers are special prints that are transferred to textile products such as T-shirts, sweaters, hats, bags and other goods using a heat press. They are a kind of "textile labels" that are made from plastisol inks - these are durable, elastic PVC-based inks specially developed for printing on textiles.

Order process

  • Select a template − PDF file (single or multi-color printing).
  • Download the selected file to your computer.
  • Place the design for print on the blue colored field.
  • Send us the design file.

Preparation

  • The size of the motif must be in a 1:1 ratio
  • The motif must be in vector format.
  • Colors must be specified in the PANTONE color model.
  • The font size should be at least 14 pt (in vector format).
  • The line should be at least 0.75 mm thick.

The file must contain

  • number of ordered sheets
  • information on which material will be printed (cotton, nylon, polyester, polypropylene, polyamide, cotton blends, etc.), WHAT IS IMPORTANT WHEN CHOOSING A GLUE
  • information about the color of the material (white, colored)
  • mandatory indication of the type of clothing if it is a softshell or sports jersey (due to subliblock printing).

Additional

Special colors
  • SPECIAL COLORS, namely neon and reflective, ARE CHARGED AS A 2-COLOR PRINT SUBLIBLOCK IS CHARGED AS A 2-COLOR PRINT.

  • Transfer temperature: 165 °C (cotton)

  • Transfer temperature: 130 °C -150 °C (nylon, polypropylene, polyester, cotton blends, polyamide)

  • Transfer time: 10−12 s

  • Transmission pressure: 2−4 bar

  • Peeling off: cold

  • Washing temperature: up to 60 °C

    How is a plastisol transfer created?

    Printing with ink on transfer paper or foil – The motif is first printed on special paper using classic screen printing.

    Drying and applying glue – After applying the paint, a special layer of powdered glue is sprinkled over the motif, which allows for good adhesion to the fabric.

    Textile transfer – Once the transfer is ready, it is simply transferred to the selected garment using a heat press at high temperatures and pressure.
